Our customer is a tights and underwear factory, and it is a successful and reference company in the Italian and international arena. With 3 production sites and 900 employees worldwide, thanks to constant investments in technology, careful stylistic research and certified international suppliers, the company has reached an important milestone: an assortment of products capable of responding sensitively to the needs of a heterogeneous target. This assortment is available for purchase through various sales channels, including the large-scale retail trade, wholesale, the mobile channel and its own stores.
This client is in a highly competitive market where diversification of sales channels is essential. The main challenge was to ensure that agents could handle orders efficiently and consistently, taking into account the specific needs of each sales channel. To assure a prompt response to market, the company established a network of local warehouses throughout the territory, serving shops in their proximity. It was crucial to have complete visibility of extended logistics among local and central warehouses and to monitor performance in real time.
The company implemented the SFA Orders app to tackle its challenges effectively. Agents use this app on Android and iOS tablets to place orders tailored to each sales channel. The application automatically manages the order minimums, delivery methods, payment methods and packaging specific to each channel, greatly simplifying the ordering process.
In addition, through the application, the company can manage depots located throughout the territory. These depots place orders to the parent company according to the needs of the shops in their vicinity. This depot management system optimises the distribution of products, ensuring that they are available in the shops when and where they are needed.
Complementing the solution, an integrated business intelligence system allows product movements to be tracked in real time. This gives the company complete visibility into sales performance and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
